As lead designer on this quarterly project, I was in charge of the art direction and design of this publication. The internal newsletter was usually 20 - 30 pages in length, and was packed with employee articles, photos, company updates, and much more, from all sites of the global company.
During my time art directing this project, we overhauled the magazine to align with the then-recent Art.com rebrand. The refresh gave the newsletter a much more modern look and layout. Richer, bolder photography was used throughout, and much more storytelling was emphasized. The result was a magazine that was actually interesting to read, and looked great. According to an employee survey, readership increased by 64% companywide.
